Siracha closes (again) in Chandler

By Jess Harter Monday, January 17, 2011

Troubled Siracha Lounge, which tried to combine Pan-Asian street food with a trendy nightclub vibe in downtown Chandler, has closed for the second time in 14 months.

Siracha launched in November 2009, but closed just four months later after losing its liquor license as a result of hosting an ASU fraternity party with under-age students.

After several hearings and penalties, the restaurant regained its license and reopened last summer.

Now, the landlord has terminated Siracha’s lease and padlocked the doors.
