Frozen dessert chain Tasti D-Lite opened its Chandler store at Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo in December but finally is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.
From noon to 3 p.m. today, Saturday and Sunday, visitors will receive a free small Tasti. There also will be door prizes like gym memberships, restaurant gift cards and an iPod.
Tasti D-Lite offers a low-calorie alternative to ice cream. It debuted in New York City, where it became famous after an appearance on HBO’s “Sex and the City.”
