Whole Foods celebrates 4th anniversary

Sweet Republic Scottsdale AZChandler’s Whole Foods Market, located on the southeast corner of the Loop 101 and Ray Road, will celebrate its fourth anniversary Saturday with music, activities and $4 deals.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Jam Pak Band will perform. The first 50 people at the fest will get free reusable shopping bags, and anyone who buys a pair of TOMS shoes will get them painted for free by a local artist.

Everyone will get a slice of anniversary cake while supplies last.

People also can meet local vendors such as Sweet Republic, Chompie’s, Desert Smoke BBQ, Adventure Roasting coffee, Fairytale Brownies, Innocent Indulgence, Furbabies, Creative Butters, Crave Canyon popcorn, Kate’s Magik, Anthony’s Spices and Gina’s Homemade Cheeses.

There will be crafts, mini pumpkin decorating and story time for children.

Food and drink specials will include $4 cheeseburgers at the market’s Smokehouse Grill, $4 gourmet hot dog plates and $4 craft beers at the market’s Watering Hole bar, which has 31 beers on tap.
