How fast could you eat two dozen of Floridino’s signature Pizza Muffins?
The Chandler restaurant wants to find out: It’s hosting its first-ever Pizza Muffin Eating Contest over the next five weeks.
Qualifying will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. the next four Mondays (Oct. 24-Nov. 14). During those hours, you can be timed eating two dozen Pizza Muffins. Cost to try out is just the price of the muffins (about $14).
If you have one of the 20 fastest times, you make the finals on Saturday, Nov. 19. (Muffins are provided for free in finals.)
The champion will receive a choice of prize: a year’s supply of Pizza Muffin’s or a year’s membership to a gym. There also will be prizes for second and third place.
