Fritzs Footlong, a hot dog shop, has opened in the former Smokey’s Bar & Grill on the northwest corner of Main Street and Gilbert Road in Mesa.
The menu features quarter-pound all-beef hot dogs, Polish dogs, bratwursts, spicy dogs, footlong dogs, burger-and-bacon hoagies and diced-chicken hoagies.
All are $5, which includes fries. More than 20 free toppings are available.
Besides bottled sodas ($2), Fritzs serves beer ($3-$4) and wine ($4).
Fritzs is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. It’s cash only; no credit cards are accepted.
