Brewing beer is a male-dominated profession, but you might not know it based on recent events in the Valley.
Last week, New Belgium brewer Lauren Salazar made several local appearances in conjunction with Arizona Beer Week. This weekend, Moylan’s brewer Denise Jones is in the East Valley.
At 7 p.m. Friday, Jones and Four Peaks brewer Melissa Osbourne will be at Whole Foods Chandler with some limited-release ales from the San Francisco area brewery.
At 6 p.m. Saturday, Jones will be at Papago Brewing with a keg of her brand-new quadruple IPA, Hop Craic XXXX.
Several Moylan’s beers – including Nor Cal IPA, Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale, Hell’s Expot Lager and Dragoons Dry Irish Stout – also will be available for sampling at Saturday’s Great Arizona Beer Festival.
