New Mexican Grill is opening its second location today on the southwest corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek roads in Chandler.
The strip-mall space formerly housed Ellie’s Native & Mexican Food.
New Mexican Grill’s all-day menu offers traditional New Mexican favorites like huevos rancheros, carne asada, green chile pork, posole, and Navajo fry bread.
Like its Gilbert location, the Chandler restaurant opens at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.
Owner Ralph Aranda opened the Gilbert location in January 2011. That 32-seat eatery took over the former Chef H space on the northeast corner of Lindsay and Pecos roads.
