Opening at Camelview this weekend: ‘Jiro Dreams of Sushi’

By Jess Harter Friday, April 20, 2012

Jiro Dreams of Sushi,” the most acclaimed food film of 2011, finally makes its debut in the Valley today.

The documentary profiles 85-year-old Jiro Ono, who’s considered the world’s greatest sushi chef despite his restaurant’s humble location in a Tokyo subway station.

Unfortunately, East Valley residents have to drive to the Harkins Camelview in Scottsdale to see it.

Showtimes Friday through Sunday: 11:15 a.m., 1:45 p.m., 4:15, 6:45, and 9:10.
