Ree Drummond, author of the acclaimed The Pioneer Woman blog, will sign her new cookbook, “The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier,” at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dobson High School in Mesa.
The cookbook, her second, came out in March and currently is No. 1 on the New York Times bestsellers list.
Drummond’s blog, which chronicles her daily life as a ranch wife in Oklahoma, won Blog of the Year in 2009 and 2010 at the Annual Weblog Awards (bloggers’ version of the Oscars).
Drummond has written four books about her ranch life, hosts her own Food Network show, and is having her story made into a movie (reportedly to star Reese Witherspoon).
