Rum cakes are coming back to Chandler.
The Bread Connection, which recently opened in the defunct Cathy’s Rum Cake space on the northwest corner of Alma School and Chandler Boulevard, is now serving Lisa’s Rum Cake.
Lisa’s Rum Cake is the Gilbert shop run by former Cathy’s Rum Cakes owner Cathy Bua‘s daughter.
Bread Connection will be serving the rum cake at its official grand-opening celebration at 4:30 p.m. today.
The cake will be available daily.
