Il Vinaio to offer Beer & Cheese Pairing for $12 all day Thursday

By Jess Harter Monday, April 30, 2012

Il Vinaio, which does a popular Beer & Donuts Pairing three times a year, is branching out. This Thursday, the downtown Mesa restaurant is doing a Beer & Cheese Pairing.

For just $12, you get half-pints of three craft beers (Left Hand Polestar, Firestone Walker DBA, and Green Flash Hop Head Red) paired with three gourmet cheeses (herbed Montrachet goat cheese, 18-month-aged English white cheddar, and Shaft’s Goldmine aged bleu cheese, respectively).

The deal is available from 11 a.m. to close. There also will be live Latin jazz from 6 to 9 p.m.

On a related note, owner Cameron Selogie says the next Beer & Donuts, which had been scheduled for September, probably will be moved up to June due to overwhelming demand.
