Yet another Streets of New York closes its doors in Chandler

By Jess Harter Monday, April 30, 2012

Streets of New York Chandler AZStreets of New York, the local pizza-and-pasta restaurant chain, has closed down its Chandler Crossroads location at Gilbert and Germann roads.

A crew was loading equipment into large trucks Sunday, and the name already had been removed from the building.

A sign on the door directs customers to the Streets of New York store at 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix (a long way to go for a pizza!).

The Crossroads location is the second Streets of New York to close in Chandler in six months. A location at Alma School and Chandler Heights closed in October and is now Amalfi Pizza.

Streets of New York’s website lists 21 Valley locations, but just three remain in the East Valley.
