Downtown Scottsdale’s Pearl Sushi Lounge and Bomber Bar is opening a second location, taking over the former Ninja Sushi space on the southwest corner of Alma School and Germann in Chandler.
Pearl describes itself as a combination of “modern sushi and fabulous cocktails.” The menu features sashimi, sushi, and small plates. The bar offers 16 martinis (all $8) and six kinds of sake.
The strip-mall space has seen a lot of turnover in the last few years. It started as noodles eatery, was converted into a Mexican restaurant, and, most recently, was Ninja.
Pearl is targeting a May 29 opening.
