It’s July 11 (7/11, get it?) so convenience store chain 7-Eleven is celebrating its 85th birthday with its annual Free Slurpee Day. Get a 7.11-ounce cup of instant brain freeze at any store before 7 p.m.
7-Eleven gave away about 5 million drinks last July 11, and hopes to hand out 7 million today.
If you’re health-conscious, keep in mind that 7-Eleven cut the amount of sugar in Slurpees earlier this year and reduced calories by half – so that Slurpee is practically good for you!
