Today is Blue Moon Friday at Nicantoni’s Pizza in Gilbert.
A blue moon – a second full moon within a given month – occurs tonight. It’s the first time blue moon in three years; the next won’t happen until 2015.
The pizzeria is celebrating by offering a special Cordon Chicken Bleu pizza made with grilled chicken, ham, white sauce infused with bleu cheese, and lots of mozzarella.
The pizza is $16.75 for a small and $17.25 for a large.
Nicantoni’s also will be selling Blue Moon beer for $2.
