After a soft opening last week, Brooklyn Eddie’s Subs holds its official grand opening today on the northwest corner of Elliot and Cooper (Stapley) in Gilbert.
Beside an array of hot and cold subs, the Brooklyn-style delicatessen offers hot dishes like linguine with meatballs or sausage, chicken or eggplant parmesan, and sausage, peppers and onions (all $8.95).
Housemade sides include red potato salad, macaroni salad, and Italian pasta salad.
New York-style cheesecake, black and white cookies, and Brooklyn crumb cake are among the desserts.
Brooklyn Eddie’s is open 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10:30-9 Friday and Saturday, and noon to 4 Sunday.
