Meet local BBQ sauce purveyor Fred Gardner, aka “Freddie G.,” from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Pittsburgh Willy’s in Chandler.
Gardner (pictured on left with PW owner Randy Walters) sells two Freddie G. sauces – his award-winning Original and a recently released Habanero. Both are available at PW’s for $6 per bottle, or two for $10.
PW’s also will be selling its Freddie G. specialty hot dog for $4 all day.
Also on hand will be Nick Major, whose family makes small-batch beef jerky in five flavors under the brand name Fat Daddy’s. Free samples will be available.
