Don’t know how I missed this, but Coal Burger quietly closed its Chandler location over the summer.
The eco-friendly burger bar was located next to corporate its sibling, Grimaldi’s Pizza, at 56th Street and Ray.
From what I can tell, the closure took place in early June. It had opened in August 2011.
It was the coal-fired pizza chain’s third location of its new burger concept. The first opened in early 2011 in Scottsdale, and the second was in Texas.
Only the Scottsdale Quarter location is still open.
