Vermont’s Magic Hat is the latest brewery to enter the Arizona market. Papago Brewing in Scottsdale will host the South Burlington brewery’s official Arizona launch party 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Papago will have Magic Hat’s flagship #9, which it calls a “not quite pale ale,” on tap. Circus Boy hefeweizen and seasonal Heart of Darkness chocolate stout will be available in bottles.
Papago also will be selling variety packs with #9, a seasonal, an IPA (Magic City does a different IPA every 3 months), and a specialty beer.
Customers will be allowed to fill growlers with #9.
