Saturday: ‘Recipes for living’ in Ahwatukee

Ahwatukee’s Pomegranate Cafe will host a free discussion “Recipes for living: How do we sustain our language, cultue, memories, and food?” from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

Special guests will include renowned ASU poet Alberto Rios, urban farmer Maya Dailey, master gardener Bob Ross, and photographer Rebecca Ross.

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the eatery, which specializes in vegetarian, vegan and raw cuisine.

Before the discussion, attendees can enjoy 15% off drinks at Wedge & Bottle next door.
