Enjoy traditional German fare – such as pulled pork, nachos, pizza, french fries, and wok-fried noodles – at this weekend’s three-day Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake.
OK, maybe not-so-traditional German fare. At least there will be bratwurst, too.
And while Budweiser is the featured beer, promoters promise there will be some German beers.
Also: Live music, wine gardens, a store (in case you need a new dirndl), a 5K race, and kids’ activities.
The festival runs 5 p.m.-midnight Friday, 10 a.m.- midnight Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
Best of all, admission is free.
