Utah might not be the first state that comes to mind when you think of craft beer, but the Beehive State has a dozen thriving breweries. And the granddaddy of them all is Wasatch, which opened in Park City in 1986.

Four of Wasatch’s most popular beers will spotlighted during a four-course beer dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Flancer’s in Mesa.

Wasatch Beer Dinner Menu

  • Roasted butternut squash soup garnished with red chile toasted pumpkin seeds and parmesan sage crustini. Paired with Wasatch’s White Label White Ale.
  • Heirloom red spinach salad with sautéed figs, prosciutto, green chiles and blueberry goat cheese with a citrus Golden Ale vinaigrette. Paired with Golden Ale.
  • Beer-braised boneless beef short ribs with roasted rosemary potatoes and pan-seared seasonal vegetables. Paired with Devastator Double Bock.
  • Ginger-pumpkin crème brulee topped with homemade spiced whipped cream. Paired with Pumpkin Ale.

Cost of the dinner is $35 person. Seating is limited. RSVP: 480-396-0077.
