Rogue beer dinner Wednesday kicks off series of Flancer’s charity fundraisers

Every March and April, Flancer’s hosts a series of events to raise money for Warfighter Sports, a most-worthy organization that helps rehabilitate wounded U.S. soldiers through sports.

First up this year is a Rogue beer dinner Wednesday, the first beer dinner at the restaurant’s recently expanded Gilbert location. Check out the menu here. (Seven-pepper-rubbed “greenie meanie” pork tenderloin medallions? Yes, please!)

The four-course dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to Warfighter Sports. Tickets are sure to sell out, so reserve your seat by calling 480-926-9077 while you still can.

Flancer’s annual Cigar & Microbrew Pairing will be Wednesday, April 10, at Fox Cigar Bar in Gilbert. Enjoy Fox cigars, Four Peaks beers, Flancer’s food, and expert discussions for $30. RSVP: 480-917-3117.

On Sunday, April 14, Flancer’s will host its 13th annual Pizza Eating Contest in Gilbert. You can sign up to compete, or volunteer to sponsor a competitor. The person who eats the most slices in 15 minutes will win $500.

Finally, Flancer’s location in Gilbert and Mesa are selling $5 raffle tickets for six great prizes: $1,000 cash from Villa Siena, a $1,250 gift certificate from Norwood Furniture, two round-trip Southwest Airline tickets (up to $800), a $1,000 Best Buy shopping spree from Maddy’s Pool Supply & Service, $1,000 Fry’s food shopping spree from Tap Electric, and 10 $100 dining certificates for East Valley restaurants.
