Arizona Wilderness Brewing is off and running. Since its soft opening Saturday, Gilbert’s first brewery has added two more beers, bringing its draft offerings up to five total.

The newcomers are Refuge IPA, which debuted Sunday, and Bear Wallow Berliner Weiss, a sour wheat beer that will hit taps today. Wilderness also offers Little Guy Rye, Estrella Pale, and Red Rock Secret.

Brewers Jonathan Buford and Patrick Ware also have finished their Superstition Coffee Stout, which they’ve put into four Jack Daniels barrels for aging. The barrel program is being called “Dave’s Staves” in honor of the late Dave Conz, a Valley homebrewer and good friend of Ware.

In other news, Wilderness announced it’s sold out all its branded growlers (although you still can bring in any legal growler to be filled). The good news: Hats ($12, pictured) are in!

AZWBC is open 3-9 p.m. daily until its grand opening Monday. The Traveling Monk food truck will be on-site today.
