As many as 20,000 people and 50 food trucks are expected to participate in the first-ever Best Food Truck of Arizona competition this weekend at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. Hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Food trucks will include such diverse fare as Waffle Love AZ, Planet of the Crepes, The Great Pho King Food Truck, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Buzznbeez, Traveling Monk, and Satay Hut.

General admission is $12 and includes free parking, free kids activities, musical entertainment, and picnic bench or grass seating. It does not include food or drink.

VIP tickets are $100 and include VIP parking, all-you-can-eat food, unlimited drinks (but only five alcoholic), upscale seating, and private restrooms.

All attendees will receive a wristband with three detachable tabs that can be cast as votes by dropping them into buckets at their favorite vendors.

Standings will be updated throughout the two days, and the winning truck will be announced at 5 p.m. Sunday.
