NYPD Pizza opens its 12th Valley location today on the northwest corner of Mill and Third Street – right in front of the light-rail station – in downtown Tempe.
To celebrate, the pizzeria is providing free parking today on all 75 parking meters along Mill Avenue between University Drive and Rio Salado Parkway.
NYPD’s thin-crust pizzas come in four sizes, with 8-inch personal pizzas starting at $5.99 and 18-inch larges at $17.49. Sicilian thick-crust also is available.
Lunch specials include individual slices ($2.25-$2.90) from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays.
In addition, the Mill Avenue location also will offer a breakfast menu.
