Sept 27: House of Brews Oktoberfest

From noon-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, the Gilbert restaurant and bar will be pouring German-style ales from SanTan, Sleepy Dog, Uncle Bear’s and other breweries. There’ll also be German-inspired food, an outfit contest, apple bobbing, and a dunk tank featuring local brewers. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $50 for VIP.

Sept. 27: Handlebar Biketoberfest

Starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, this all-day event at the Mill Avenue establishment will feature child-sized bike races pitting mayor vs. mayor, bar vs. bar, brewery vs. brewery, and more. There’ll be plenty of beers and brats, and tunes provided by German bands and local DJs. Admission is free.

Oct. 4: SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest

From 3-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, Iration and Reel Big Fish will co-headline the entertainment lineup in downtown Chandler. Highlights include a beer pong tournament, bag toss, keg stacking, tricycle races, a brat-eating contest, and craft beer from SanTan. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Oct. 10-12: Four Peaks Tempe Oktoberfest

From Oct. 10-12, this weekend-long festival at Tempe Town Lake will have eight beer and three wine gardens, German brats and a Bavarian bakery (as well as other food vendors), live music on three stages, carnival rides for kids and adults, weiner dog races, and kids craft activities. Admission is free.
