Uh-oh. This doesn’t seem like a good sign.

Less than four months after opening, The Revival in Tempe is ditching its “contemporary American dishes” in favor of Mexican food.

The restaurant announced this afternoon the new menu will debut Thursday. (See the new lunch and dinner menus.)

The Revival, you may recall, is a concept from former House of Tricks chef Fletcher and Mucho Gusto founder Chad Withycombe.

Withycombe closed Mucho Gusto in June to convert it into The Revival. So the space has gone from Mexican to American to – as of tomorrow – back to Mexican.
