SanTan Brewing in downtown Chandler is launching a series of classes pairing craft beers with craft food. Each will feature a local chef or food artisan and a SanTan brewer.

First up will be a sausage and beer class at 6 p.m. Monday.

Attendees will enjoy seven different types of sausage made by SanTan chef Dennis Martinez paired with seven SanTan beers:

Sausage & Beer Pairings:

  • Andouille sausage and SunSpot Gold
  • Curry chicken sausage and HefeWeizen
  • Traditional German bratwurst and Oktoberfest
  • Smoked Polish sausage and Epicenter AMber
  • Spicy Italian sausage and Devil’s Ale
  • Blue cheese-stuffed sausage and HopShock IPA
  • Espresso-rubbed red-eye sausage and Gordo Stout

The pairing costs $25 per person and will be held in the brewpub’s private Brewers Reserve room. About 10 seats still are available. RSVP: catering@santanbrewing.com.
