Officer David Payne, 37, died this morning when his police motorcycle was rear-ended at a red light in Chandler. Officer Bryant Holmes, 34, was killed in a motorcycle wreck in Gilbert on his way to work Tuesday.

“Our mission is to give back to our surrounding community,” says Social Box partner Aaron Lopo, “And after losing two Chandler officers this week, we had to put that mission instantly into action.”

Patrons can donate extra funds to the Chandler Law Enforcement Association at Social Box through Sunday in addition to the donation the restaurant plans to make.
