Now here’s a burger that just might tempt former “Man v. Food” host Adam Richman out of competitive retirement…

Wimpy’s Paradise in downtown Chandler has created what it’s calling a 5-Story Burger. The behemoth features five half-pound patties, four slices of Tillamook sharp cheddar, and two fried eggs on a pretzel bun.

The idea came from Juan Martinez (pictured), a regular customer, whose order grew from a single-patty burger to a double burger to a triple.

“He finally said, ‘I’m gonna come in New Year’s Eve and try a five-patty burger,’’’ Wimpy’s owner Randy Walters says. “He just skipped over a four-patty burger.”

Martinez fell just short of finishing his 2014-ending burger, but he inspired Walters to launch the 5-Story Burger Challenge.

Finish the burger in 30 minutes, and you’ll get a special T-shirt and your photo on the restaurant’s wall. So far, two others have tried the challenge but also failed.

The 5-Story Burger is $37.50, which includes an unlimited supply of napkins.
