The weekly five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, highlight a rotating selection from the regular menu at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert.

Feb. 26 “Taste of Romeo’s” menu:

  • Spicy Lamb Potatoes: Gyros meat and potatoes hand-formed into ball and deep-fried.
  • Teriyaki Chicken Salad: With black beans, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, avocado, feta, and lemon.
  • Kasseri Chicken: Sauteed chicken breast, kasseri cheese, and vegetables in a marsala cream sauce.
  • Sausage Sophia: Italian sausage with vegetables in EVOO.
  • Fantasy Cake: Layers of cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and Devil’s Food cake, finished with dark chocolate and ground pistachios.

Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $27 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
