I’m lovin’ it. Flo’s, the elegant Chinese restaurant that’s been serving upscale Scottsdale diners for 18 years, is opening a new location – in the former McDonald’s on the northwest corner of Rural and Baseline in Tempe.

It will serve the same menu of Chinese and other Asian dishes as owner Florence “Flo” Chan‘s two north Scottsdale restaurants.

Although considered mainly a Chinese restaurant, Flo’s also offers Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Indian fare.

House specialities include BBQ Pork Slices, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, and Thai Style Calimari & Chiles.

Renovations of the former fast-food restaurant are just beginning and no opening date has been targeted, but it likely will be sometime this summer.
