Former San Francisco residents Tina Chau and Sam Chang opened the first Slickables next to La Bocca Urban Pizzeria + Wine Bar in January 2012.

The store specializes in ice cream sandwiches, allowing customers to choose among a dozen flavors of premium ice cream to sandwich between nine kinds of cookies.

The menu also offers brownies and milkshakes.

The second Slickables is taking over the former Cucina di Vita space on Main Street between Robson and Macdonald.

It’s just waiting on its final inspection, and hopes to open later this week.
