The space on the southeast corner of McClintock and Broadway in Tempe had been empty since February.

BP Street Cafe offers 14 rice dishes and seven noodle dishes, all $7.50 or less. The signature menu item is laksa, a spicy coconut curry soup.

The eatery is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
