Over Easy, a chain of local breakfast eateries perhaps best-known from an appearance on the Food Network’s ‘‘Diners Drive Ins & Dives,’’ has closed its location at The Yard at Farmer Arts District near downtown Tempe. That Over Easy had opened just last June.

Over Easy offers a menu of creative dishes like sausage-on-a-stick Waffle Dogs and The Wolfpack – two eggs, bacon, and cheese between two layers of hash browns (pictured). The Tempe closure comes on the heels of founding chef Aaron May selling his majority stake in the chain, although he remains a minor partner.

The Yard also includes Sam Fox’s Culinary Dropout and a fitness studio, which remain open. Over Easy still operates locations in Mesa, Gilbert, Arcadia, Scottsdale, and Bellingham, Wash.
