Humble Pie & Living Room owners to debut La Sala concept in south Chandler

By Jess Harter Monday, August 22, 2016

La Sala – a modern Latin concept from the owners of Humble Pie pizzerias and The Living Room wine bars – will open later this year at Downtown Ocotillo in south Chandler.

La Sala (Spanish for ‘‘the living room’’) will be located between The Living Room and sibling Asian fusion concept Rock Lobster in the commercial development on Queen Creek between Dobson and Price.

It is expected to open in late November or early December.

The menu hasn’t been finalized, but look for tableside guacamole, street corn, huaraches (flat breads), empanadas, posole, tacos, and tortas.

In addition, The Living Room at Downtown Ocotillo is undergoing an expansion of its kitchen, scheduled to be finished by Nov. 1.

When the expansion is complete, the concept’s original location will offer the same full menu as its recently opened Ahwatukee location.

The Living Room’s next location – at Gainey Ranch in north Scottsdale – now is scheduled to open Dec. 1. Another La Sala location is planned next to it.
