California-based seafood concept Ahipoki Bowl will open its third Arizona location next to ASU on Rural, between University and Apache, in Tempe.
Ahipoki Bowl allows diners to create their own bowls, choosing a base (rice or salad), seafood (tuna, spicy tuna, albacore, salmon, shrimp, octopus, yellowtail, or scallops), and any of 13 toppings and four sauces.
Arizona franchisees Mike Zimmerman and Jason Jantzen opened their first location in Scottsdale in April and another in Chandler in July.
The build-out of the Tempe location at ‘‘The Wedge,’’ which formerly was a bookstore, will begin this fall with a tentative opening date of March 1.
