Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, a Louisiana-based fast-food chain, opens its fourth East Valley location at 10 a.m. Friday on the northwest corner of Val Vista and Williams Field in Gilbert.

The site previously was home to a Burger King restaurant, which was demolished.

To celebrate its grand opening, the first 100 people in line Friday will receive a free box combo (pictured) and a commemorative gift, with 10 lucky guests chosen at random to win free food for a year.

The restaurant also will be giving away 100 percent of its first-day profits to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Raising Cane’s made its East Valley debut in Tempe in 2012. It added a Mesa location in 2013, and a Chandler location this summer.

The menu features only one entree: chicken fingers (fresh, never frozen) with its signature Cane’s Sauce. There are three side options: Fries, cole slaw and Texas toast.

After Friday, the Gilbert hours will be 9 a.m.-midnight daily.
