Candy Bar Milk Stout release at McFate Tap & Barrel in Scottsdale: The brewery taps its award-winning seasonal brewed with honey-roasted peanuts, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and sea salt at 11 a.m. New CBMS growlers and T-shirts will be available for purchase.

30-year anniversary specials at Someburros: The local chain celebrates all week with $6 Pollo Funditos on Monday, $2 tacos on Tuesday, $1 strawberry or lime margaritas on Wednesday, and $2.50 bean and cheese burros on Thursday at all five Valley locations.

Four Peaks beer dinner at Carlsbad Tavern in Scottsdale: Southwest surf and turf salad, roasted lobster poblano chowder, chile-braised pork tenderloin, and Adobe pie will be paired with four beers at a 6 p.m. dinner. Cost is $45 per person. RSVP required.

Trivia with Hangar 24 Brewing at The Brass Tap in Mesa: The Redlands, Calif., will have its Polycot wheat wine, Betty IPA, and Gourdgeous strong porter on tap for Monday Night Trivia from 7-10 p.m. Stop by to talk about the beers and maybe score some swag.

Pei Wei Test Kitchen debuts in Scottsdale: Join sports radio personality John Gambadoro for free food samples and T-shirt giveaways from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. as the chain debuts its Test Kitchen, which features new interior design elements and food items.

Culinary & hospitality open house at Scottsdale Community College: Learn about the school’s culinary and hospitality programs by touring the kitchen, talking to students, meeting faculty, and sampling delicious foods prepared by students from 6-8 p.m. RSVP required.

Kegs & Candy at Four Peaks Brewing in Tempe: Mix and mingle with brewers and a confectionary chef as five types of candy are paired with beers from 6-8 p.m. at the Eighth Street brewpub. Cost is $20 per person, and tickets are limited. The tasting also will be held at the Scottsdale taproom Thursday and Wilson Street tasting room Friday.

Taste of Italy wine tasting at The Ivy in Chandler: Enjoy five Italian wines from different regions, as well as food to complement, from 7-10 p.m.. Tickets are $30 through Tuesday or $45 Wednesday, and include a beverage either before or after tasting.

Chateau Ste. Michelle wine dinner at Nico Heirloom Kitchen in Gilbert: Chef-owner Gio Osso teams up with one of America’s most-honored wineries for a five-course dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $65 per person and reservations are required.

Thursday

bridessertpairing102416Stone tap takeover at Ground Control in Litchfield Park: The Escondido, Calif., brewery will have six beers – Enjoy By, Mocha IPA, Ruination 2.0, Xovoveza, Coffee Milk Stout, and Vertical Epic 2.02.02 – on tap starting at 4 p.m.

Halloween beer dinner at SunUp in Phoenix: The four food courses will include black pudding, flat-iron steak, and drunken blueberries, but the beer pairings are a secret for the 6:30 p.m. dinner. Cost is $30, and if you wear a costume you’ll get a 50% off beer coupon.

Dessert & Beer pairings at Beer Research Institute in Mesa: Banana cream pie with Lolli imperial Belgian blonde and pumpkin pie mousse with Saison D’Hiver are two of the four pairings at 7 p.m. Cost for all four is $25; only 30 tickets will be sold.
