Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert will be closed on Thanksgiving, so its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday this week.

The dinners typically feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s menu:

  • Spinach Puffs: Two puff pastries filled with a blend of cheese and spinach. Served with horseradish sauce.
  • Corinthian Salad: Grilled chicken breast, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, capers, and feta cheese tossed in Italian dressing over romaine.
  • Risi Bisi con Milanesa: Lightly breaded pan-fried pork cutlets, brown rice, black beans, peppadew peppers, hominy, onions, and peas cooked in chicken broth, parsley-cilantro salad, lemon wedges.
  • Chicken Veneto: Chicken breast, whole black peppercorns, capers, spring onion, mushrooms, and garlic in Marsala cream sauce.
  • Intoxicated Love: Dark chocolate, Grand Marnier, milk chocolate, and Kahlua, white and milk chocolate layers kissed by Jack Daniels.

Cost is $27 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
