Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dinning room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The dinners typically feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s menu:

  • Mushrooms Meteora: Button mushroom caps filled with feta cheese, capers, artichoke hearts, and dill. Baked.
  • Greek Salad: Tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers, kalamata olives, and feta cheese in olive oil and red wine vinegar.
  • Salmon de Provance: Salmon filet baked in parchment paper with pea pods, scallions, red peppers, asparagus, and onions in a caper-tomato clam sauce.
  • Tortellini Gianni: Italian sausage, cheese-filled tortellini, scallions, fresh garlic, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes in marsala cream sauce (pictured).
  • Rocky Road Brownies: Chocolaty treats with chewy layer of marshmallows, nuts, and even more chocolate.

Cost is $27 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
