Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its final ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner of 2016 – a special high-end edition hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice – at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The dinners typically feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s menu:

  • Feta Dill Fritters: A blend of gyros meat, feta cheese, fresh dill, spinach, and pine nuts. With yogurt sauce.
  • Roasted Vegetable Salad: Roasted vegetables, fresh herbs, quinoa, mixed greens, maple mustard vinaigrette, and feta cheese.
  • Goat Shrimp: Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp with feta and sun-dried tomato stuffing. Served with sauteed vegetables.
  • Pork AgroDolce: Blackened pork tenderloin, smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, grape tomatoes, roasted garlic, balsamic, and fig agrogolce.
  • Intoxicated Love: Dark chocolate, Grand Marnier, milk chocolate, and Kahlua, white and milk chocolate layers kissed by Jack Daniels (pictured).

Cost of ‘‘Taste’’ dinners usually is $27, but this special edition is $85 per person, which includes five wine pairings, tax, and tip. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
