Female brewers from around the state will meet at Barrio Brewing in Tucson on Wednesday to brew a limited-release double IPA called State Bird. The beer will be released during Arizona Beer Week (Feb. 9-18) with proceeds going to four women’s charities: the Sojourner Center in Phoenix, the Northland Family Help Center in Flagstaff, Wings for Women in Tucson, and the Prescott Area Women’s Shelter.

Last year, the women brewed the state’s first all-female collaboration, a red IPA called She’s So Hop, at Huss Brewing in Tempe (pictued) to benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. Like She’s So Hop, State Bird will be available at breweries and bars throughout the state.
