Gilbert Feastival

After last weekend’s soft opening, Gilbert’s weekly food truck roundup celebrates the grand opening of its new location today. In addition to two dozen food trucks, there are boutique vendors and live music. 5:30-9 p.m. today on the southwest corner of Val Vista and Warner. Tempe Empty Bowls

For a $10 donation, you get a handcrafted bowl of your choice and a lunch of soup and bread at the annual fundraiser for United Food Bank. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today at 6th Street Park and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Tempe Public Library.

Squash the Beef

Goldwater Brewing celebrates the start of spring training baseball at nearby Scottsdale Stadium with a full day of craft beer, food trucks, and live music. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday at the Old Town brewery.

Vegan Food Festival

The Valley’s premier vegan festival features dozens of restaurants, food trucks, vendors, and chefs. General admission is $25. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at the Phoenix Theatre/Phoenix Art Museum campus.

Welcome Chicken & Donuts

Peixoto Coffee‘s weekly pop-up event in downtown Chandler welcomes Phoenix’s Welcome Chicken & Donuts and  four different doughnut breakfast sandwiches. 8 a.m.-noon Sunday at Peixoto.
