Scottsdale-based Grabbagreen makes its East Valley debut today at the new Rivulon Center on the northeast corner of Gilbert Road and the 202 in Gilbert.
The healthy fast-food concept offers greens- and grain-based ‘‘bowls’’ (actually boxes), wraps, and other items made with organic produce and hormone-free meats.
“As a longtime Grabbagreen customer and East Valley resident, I couldn’t wait to bring this concept to Gilbert,” says franchise owner Stacy Rendell. “At Grabbagreen, customers simply cannot make an unhealthy choice.”
Hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
The Gilbert location is the fifth in Arizona and 17th nationwide for the concept, which was launched in 2013. It expects to open around 20 stores this year, and has franchise or development deals to open another 200.
