In a rare crustacean-centric convergence, the weekly Gilbert Feastival will be the site of Lobsterpalooza from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday on the southwest corner of Val Vista and Warner.
This week’s truck lineup includes both Cousins Maine Lobster and The Maine Lobster Lady (pictured). While the former works Valley streets year-round, the latter heads back to Maine every April.
Friday’s 18-truck lineup also will include The American Poutine Co., Chicken & Waffles for the People, My Way Tacos, and Oh So Good Mini Donuts.
Admission to Feastival is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs – and even a table – if they want.
