Steak and Stone, a steakhouse and BBQ restaurant that opened in December 2015 at Falcon Field in northeast Mesa, is opening a second location in Gilbert.
It’s taking over the former American Taphouse building on Gilbert Road, south of Warner, in Gilbert Town Square. Other previous occupants were BoomBozz Pizza and Boston’s Gourmet Pizza.
Steak and Stone’s signature menu items are steaks cut in-house and cooked at your table on a 500-degree stone (pictured).
No opening date has been announced.
