JC’s Steakhouse to launch lunch service on Thursday

By Jess Harter Tuesday, May 30, 2017

If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the lookout for good yet inexpensive lunch spots. This week, there’s a new one – well, kinda new – in Gilbert.

JC’s Steakhouse, a popular nighttime destination since opening in 2014, is expanding its hours to launch its first-ever lunch menu on Thursday.

To start, lunch will be available just three days a week – from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If there’s enough business, other days will be added.

Chef and owner Dennis Petty has created an extensive lunch menu of soups and salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and third-pound burgers.

The best part? Thirty of the 37 menu items are under $10 (see lunch menu).

Highlights of the lunch menu include the Oh My Darling Crab Melt ($10.99, shown at top) and the Open-Face Prime Rib Sandwich ($14.99, shown above).

All sandwiches and burgers come with a choice of soup, salad, or hand-cut fries.

Daily specials will include a soup and salad combo for $6.99 and a sandwich and soup combo for $6.99.

JC’s Steakhouse is located on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Ray.
