A sure sign we’re approaching the dog days of summer: It’s time for Christmas in July beer events.
From 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, July 22, SanTan Brewing in downtown Chandler will tap stashed kegs of its Winter Warmer and RailSlide. There’ll be holiday music all day and even a visit from Santa.
From 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 24, The Brass Tap at Mesa Riverview will host Christmas in July with Ironfire Brewing. Beers on tap from the Southern California brewery will include:
- Last Rites bourbon barrel aged triple chocolate imperial stout
- 1440 bourbon barrel aged Scotch ale
- Collateral Damage bourbon barrel aged imperial porter
- Randall of Six Killer stout with peppermint and vanilla
Wear an ugly holiday sweater to win prizes.
